Superb album. Dream music with synthesizers and a lot of sequencing / arpeggios. One of my favourites.

No Beats for One Hour

No beats, but a serious listening experience! The recordings on this album date back to the late 80s and early 90s, but they´re more melodic and accessible than on "Excerpts 1".

ADSR (Remix)

This 25-minute EP (a limited edition of 500 copies) contains the track “ADSR” in four different mixes. Three are by Spyra, the other is done by Ashra’s Steve Baltes.

SOCIAL SEQUENCER - Interactive sound installation with audience participation

First, the light-emitting rotating laser is set into motion. Then the audience is asked to push the sound pedestals around, turn them or distribute them on the surface, paying attention to what happens next. Hommage à Leon Theremin

Following his defection to the West and sub-sequent seizure/imprisonment by the KGB, Leon Theremin, was co-opted by the Russian authorities to work on a series of spying devices.

Transit - No. 7

Part of a Cultural Exchange Project between 20 artists from Germany and Eastern Europe in which each artist was allocated in a room within an abandoned 1950's hotel.

Etherlands

In an inversion of expected antenna function, namely to collect electromagnetic waves and redirect them to a receiver, this work denies that possibility.
